About This Game

More than a decade after setting the standard for racing management games, Motorsport Manager returns with a bigger world, deeper management, and more reactive racing.

Take your place on the pit wall and lead your race team from the back of the grid to championship glory. Make the big calls on race day, develop faster cars, recruit the right people, and build the facilities needed for lasting success.

Build the team. Develop the car. Master the strategy. Every decision becomes part of your racing legacy.

RACE WEEKENDS THAT COME ALIVE

Races are strategic battles, won by driver skill on the track and decisions made on the pit wall. With reactive racing, every rival pursues their own best result, adapting their strategy and reacting to events as the race unfolds. They do not simply follow a predetermined plan. They actually race you.

Position, traffic, tyres, fuel, car condition, and weather shape their choices. They may abandon Plan A, chase an undercut, run long for the overcut, or respond to a safety car. One car pitting can trigger a chain reaction through the field as rivals respond to protect their track position. You need to read the race too, balancing immediate opportunity against long-term cost.

Pressure rises when drivers fight wheel to wheel. A driver running alone may stay composed, but close battles increase the risk of a costly mistake.

Weather moves across the circuit in real time, so the track is never simply wet or dry. Decide when to change tyres, whether to risk another lap, and how far to trust your drivers in mixed conditions. These high-risk calls create the tension, drama, and stories that make races feel alive.

RACE. BUILD. REPEAT.

Every result gives you something to build on. Design new parts to target the areas where your car needs to improve, balance performance against reliability, and choose whether to play it safe or chase an advantage through illegal components. Manufacture the parts, decide which driver gets the latest upgrade, and return to the track with faster cars.

Development does not stop with the current season. Shape next year’s chassis through choices that define its characteristics and how well it suits each driver. Build a car that works for both drivers, or favour one and consider replacing the other.

Regulation changes can erase established advantages and turn the competitive order upside down.

As your headquarters expands, you can develop your own power units and become a supplier to rival teams.

Improve the car you have. Build the car you need. Return to the track and prove it.

PEOPLE, NOT STAT LINES

Drivers and staff have distinct personalities and ambitions. They form opinions of one another and of you. Relationships develop through the management decisions you’re already making, not through busywork.

Give one driver preferential treatment, issue unpopular team orders, criticise someone in the media, or break a promise. They may remember it when you ask them to put the team first or when it is time to negotiate a new contract. Build trust and cohesion, and your team will work better together when the pressure is on.

Sometimes there is no decision that keeps everyone happy. The question is whose support you can afford to lose.

FIND TOMORROW’S CHAMPIONS

The motorsport world extends far beyond your own championship. Follow emerging drivers through simulated junior series, spot the most promising talent before your rivals do, and recruit them into your driver academy.

Guide their development, promote them when they’re ready, loan them to another team for experience, or release them and wonder whether you’ve just let a future champion walk away.

THIS IS YOUR TEAM

Create your own team, shape its identity, and make it unmistakably yours. Use the livery editor to define how your team looks on track, with designs that can evolve alongside it across seasons and series.

Create the team. Design the livery. Make it yours.

MOTORSPORT WITHOUT LIMITS

Real-world motorsport is an inspiration, not a limitation. Motorsport Manager 2 draws from different eras, disciplines, formats, and regulations without being tied to any one championship.

Being unlicensed by design gives us the freedom to explore the politics, rivalries, grey areas, and human moments that licensed games often avoid. Vote on the rules that shape each championship and watch teams rise, fall, and rebuild across the years.

Full mod support from day one gives you that same freedom to customise and reshape your experience with new challenges, championships, teams, vehicles, and more.

RACE ON TWO WHEELS

Single-seater, GT, and endurance racing all return. For the first time in Motorsport Manager, motorbike racing joins them as a full management discipline with its own riders, teams, championships, and challenges.

Every decision. Every race. Every season.

Build your racing legacy.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI is being used during development solely to create character head portraits. It enabled us to create thousands of portrait variations across three age stages, helping the large cast of characters feel more varied, immersive and realistic while allowing characters to visibly age during long careers.

Every portrait is created in advance and checked by the Playsport art team before being included in the game. Nothing is generated while the game is running. No other artwork in the game, including vehicles, decals, logos or clothing uses generative AI. AI-generated portraits can be disabled in the preferences menu.
